2,857 exhibitors from renowned brands to trendy start-ups present their products and innovations on an area of 170.000 m2. The atmosphere is fantastic, cartoon characters and superheroes like Batman, Hulk and the Stormtroopers play together, VIPs are excited to discover the trends at the toy fair. The Toy Market
The global toys market is set to exceed €65 billion in 2014, with Asia Pacific setting a trajectory to surpass both Western Europe and North America to become the world’s largest traditional toys region by 2017. China is leading this growth as the world’s fastest growing traditional toys and games market with double digit growth in 2014 of just over 10%. Western Europe is also continuing to grow with almost 80% of its sales growth coming from the region’s largest three markets: UK, France and Germany.
Toy Business Forum
Concurrently with Spielwarenmesse® the Toy Business Forum took place in Hall 3A. National and international speakers explained current aspects of online marketing, licences and future trends at the free trade forum.
Innovation made in Germany
Spielwarenmesse® and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy support young innovative companies’ fair participation. In Hall 3A, 28 young German companies surprised buyers with original product ideas as a door opener to international business prospects.
New Exhibitor Center
In the New Exhibitor Center 58 national and international companies exhibited at Spielwarenmesse® for the first time. Retailers soon found new business contacts and product ideas from all toy sectors at the joint pavilion.
And to bring a smile to many children‘s faces Spielwarenmesse® exhibitors donate their products to charity every year. Spielwarenmesse eG collects them on the last day of the fair and presents them to SOS Children‘s Villages and regional institutions in Franconia. Around 800 exhibitors donated products at the 2015 Spielwarenmesse®.
Toon Walk achieves European record
The Toon Walk attracted 207 different figures to Europe‘s largest gathering of mascots. The partners of the ToyCity games and event programme organised the crazy comic parade and many other events for Spielwarenmesse® guests and citizens.
Organiser Spielwarenmesse eG
The trade show organiser and marketing service provider organizes the world‘s leading Spielwarenmesse® and the Insights-X– the new Stationery EXPO in Nuremberg. The international fair programme World of Toys by Spielwarenmesse eG supports manufacturers to exhibit at Kids India, Kids Russia, Kids Turkey and other trade shows.
